The ATHENA Leadership Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 5. To date, plans are to host the event in the same virtual format that was done so beautifully last year. This will be the 36th consecutive year that the MRCC will present the prestigious ATHENA Leadership Award and the seventh year it will present the ATHENA Young Professional Award for emerging community leaders. The International ATHENA Awards Program honors individuals who have achieved professional accomplishments, provide significant community service, and act as mentors and role models to encourage women to reach their leadership potential.
The MRCC is currently seeking nominations for the awards, with applications due by June 30, 2021. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are also invited to become ATHENA event sponsors and join the chamber in identifying and honoring leadership by and for women throughout the community.
