Bingo Benefit for Holiday Express

The bingo benefit is back! On Friday, March 29, 2019, Holiday Express will be hosting its first bingo night of the year in the volunteer organization’s spacious new warehouse location, at 151 Industrial Way East, Building A, Suite A4, in Eatontown, NJ. The event, dubbed “Spring Fling Bingo 2019 – Bingo, Bites, and Booze,” will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and tickets are now on sale. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Mark the date and gather a table of family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers and come out for an evening of great prizes, fun bingo games, tasty bites, a “lucky calendar date” game with the chance to win a luxurious overnight stay in Atlantic City, and raffle baskets filled with dining, food, and drink items and gift cards. The warehouse is easily accessible and there is plenty of onsite parking available.

Founded in 1993 by Tim McLoone, Holiday Express works year-round to deliver music, food, gifts, and human kindness to adults and children in need, including the mentally and physically disabled, the isolated, individuals in addiction and recovery programs, the poor and the homeless, and children with serious illnesses. With a constituency of more than 27,000 throughout the metropolitan tristate area, their priority is to serve those who are desperately in need and often forgotten.

During their season of events, which now numbers an astounding 100 shows from early November through Christmas Eve, the Holiday Express army of volunteers pays private visits to these very special groups. But there are several opportunities throughout the year to attend public events that help support Holiday Express and its mission, including the annual golf outing in July, the sunset clambake in September, and two concerts at the Count Basie Theater in December. A recent addition to that calendar of fun events has been their very special bingo nights, which have proven to be a huge success and sell out every time – providing much needed funds to help defray the costs of a typical Holiday Express visit. Participants have the opportunity to not only enjoy a merry evening with friends and family, but also the chance to get a glimpse inside the Holiday Express warehouse – festively set up for bingo night – that serves as “Santa’s workshop” and where volunteers dedicate so much time and effort.

Would you like to donate a prize item for the bingo benefit? Holiday Express is gratefully accepting bottles of wine or liquor and restaurant gift cards of $25 or more to go into their themed baskets.

Tickets for the Spring Fling bingo night are $35 per person and include cards for seven games. Guests are invited to bring their own food and drink to make a party of it! Holiday Express will serve a variety of delicious desserts. Tables of eight are available; when making reservations, indicate who should be seated together.
