Holiday Express Virtual Clambake on September 13

The 13th annual Holiday Express Clambake is going virtual this year!

On Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 7 pm, the non-profit organization Holiday Express will host its annual signature fundraiser in a whole new way, allowing guests to lend support from the comfort of their own backyards. Enjoy an evening of virtual ocean breezes, entertainment from the talented Holiday Express musicians, a look back at unforgettable past performances, cooking and cocktail demonstrations, and great items in an online silent auction, hosted live by Holiday Express founder Tim McLoone.

Tickets for this amazing virtual celebration may be purchased at https://Clambake2020.givesmart.com. Individual tickets are just $50, with a variety of sponsorship opportunities starting at $250. You will receive a private link via text and/or email on the day of the event to view the party. No rain date is required, as sunshine and good times are 100% guaranteed!  

Like everyone else, Holiday Express and, even more so, the special populations that they serve have been facing enormous challenges due to the COVID pandemic. For 27 years, the Holiday Express mission has been to personally deliver music, food, gifts, financial support, and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year. Through the joyful, personal interaction of volunteers and the generosity of supporters, Holiday Express traditionally hosts 100 events during November and December for those with mental and physical challenges, veterans, individuals in addiction and recovery programs, the isolated, the poor, the homeless, and children with serious illnesses.  Those parties, and the gifts that they bring, are often the only ones that those populations will receive all year.

The personal and financial restrictions caused by COVID have seriously impacted those fragile groups and the schedule of Holiday Express events to assist them. But the determination to deliver the gift of human kindness in any way possible has not changed in the least. During the 2020 season, Holiday Express will provide a unique virtual party for 100 locations, with great holiday music, a dance party atmosphere, and customized duffle bags filled with essential personal items for every man, woman, and child.

Together, while apart, Holiday Express needs your help now more than ever before, as they remain fully committed to providing holiday fun for all. Proceeds from the clambake will be used to improve the quality of life for 27,000 individuals who have come to depend on the organization and will experience Holiday Express in a different manner this season.
