The metroburb at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ continues to grow by leaps and bounds, with a good measure of fun thrown in! On March 25, real estate developer Somerset Development announced three unique new businesses that will be coming onboard at the vast facility, offering exciting entertainment options for employees, area residents, and visitors to Bell Works. Swing Loose, an indoor golf simulator facility, Escapology, a real-life escape game experience, and oasisVRX, a state-of-the-art virtual reality studio, will be opening later this year on the ground-floor quarter-mile stretch of the atrium where shops, eateries, community services, library, healthcare offices, and other tenants make up “The Block at Bell Works.”
“We are thrilled to welcome these new retailers to ‘The Block at Bell Works’, each of which presents a unique range of experiences for both our workers and visitors to enjoy,” said Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development. “This marks an incredibly important step for the metroburb as we continue to transform this once-vacant building into a true destination where people from across the region can come to work, dine, shop, and gather.”
This will be the first location for Swing Loose, filling 2,738 square feet of space and featuring multiple golf simulator bays for year-round golf experiences to be enjoyed by first-time golfers and experts alike. Using cutting-edge technology, each bay will provide detailed data to assist golfers in improving their swing, club impact, ball loft, and other skills.
Escapology at Bell Works will be the company’s second location, occupying 3,274 square feet of space. Premium escape game experiences will challenge teams of up to eight players to work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and pick locks in order to be freed from the game room.
A 2,577-square-foot state-of-the-art virtual reality center will be home for oasisVRX, where visitors can explore more than 20 VR stations with a vast library of experiences that will include gaming, e-sports, fitness, education, and meditation for both individuals and groups.
All three entertainment retailers are scheduled to be open by mid-to-late summer 2019. After a day of fun, visitors who work up an appetite will also appreciate the array of dining options that are now available at Bell Works. They include The Hummus and Pita Co., with homemade fresh Mediterranean cuisine; Bell Market, a food hall showcasing fresh baked goods, made-to-order salads, poke bowls, sushi rolls, customizable subs and deli sandwiches, and brick-oven baked pizza and bread; Booskerdoo Coffee & Baking Co.; Mexican restaurant Estrella Azul, and Italian restaurant Mezza Luna. On Wednesday afternoons, the Bell Works Fresh Farmers & Makers Market comes alive in the center of the atrium, with up to 50 local vendors selling a variety of fresh foods, desserts, sauces, baked goods, produce, beverages, and more throughout the year.
If you’re in the mood to shop, get fit, or get pampered, you will find options for those at Bell Works now, too. The Bar Method, a popular exercise boutique offering specialized barre classes and group fitness; Holmdel Florist, a shop offering beautiful floral arrangements; and Dimension Dental, a premier dental support organization, are all open, along with Salon Concrete, a hair salon offering professional cut, color, and styling for men and women; the aptly named @ Your Convenience convenience store; and City Barn Country Penthouse, a boutique offering home, bed, bath, and other gift items. A recent visit showed that Alchemist Jewelers, a fine jewelry boutique shop, OceanFirst Bank, and several other businesses are getting ready to open their doors.
For adult scholars and young learners, there is the Holmdel Library and Learning Center branch of the Monmouth County Library, as well as the Holmdel Montessori School. Also currently in the works at Bell Works is a 186-room rooftop boutique hotel that will feature a restaurant, bar, lounge area, and infinity pool where guests can take in stunning panoramic views.
The latest addition of the coming entertainment options further bolsters Bell Works’ quest to be not merely a corporate park, but a community hub that is open and accessible to everyone throughout the area.
Bell Works is located on Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel, approximately one mile from Garden State Parkway Exit 114. For more information, visit www.Bell.Works and follow Bell Works’ social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
