This winemaking shop provides a comfortable, attractive setting, professional equipment, and friendly, knowledgeable staff to guide you through the four easy steps needed to handcraft your very own wine – almost in your own backyard! Participants can personalize the process every step of the way, from choosing among more than 80 varieties (including special seasonal vintages, from top worldwide vineyards) to adding personalized labels in styles that range from artistic landscapes to whimsical graphics to sports themes to an original design of your own, with whatever message you choose. There are even dozens of bottle styles and colors from which to choose.

Groups can get together to celebrate, and prepare wine, for holidays, weddings, bridal showers, corporate outings, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, engagement parties, or simply to enjoy a relaxing wine and cheese party, without the headache or mess of hosting at home. And if you don’t have group of your own, the winemaking sessions are a great way to get acquainted with other wine enthusiasts in your area, in a casual and convenient setting. 

The standard package yields 28 bottles of wine at a very cost-effective price – even more so when the cost is divided among friends who can then share the bottles when they’re all done. The process is usually completed over the course of about eight weeks, which means that if you’re considering making some wonderful wine of your own that will be ready for the start of the new year, to savor by the fireplace on a cold winter’s night, or to share over a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner, now is the time to stop by Vintner’s Circle and see how to get started!    

Besides the onsite winemaking, Vintner’s Circle also offers equipment, kits, and supplies for those who enjoy making their own wine at home, as well as a great selection of wine accessories, gift items, serving ware, totes – even delicious chocolates and aromatic candles to help set the mood for a special evening or a charming picnic.

Vintner’s Circle of Middletown also hosts Open House Wine Tastings on a regular basis. Free and open to the public, these casual evenings offer a perfect opportunity to visit the shop, sample a variety of tasty wines, and learn all about how to make your very own bottles of wine. If you’d like to stop by at another time, the shop is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
