Pacific Encore Performances is a unique musical repertory company that provides the performance opportunities necessary for successful careers in the entertainment industry. Offering musically gifted, emerging young professionals a bridge to the main stages of the world, with intensive training to singers in key areas of dramatic and musical arts, their mission is to build community through the universal language of music that speaks to the hearts and minds of all people.
Their premiere television special for NJN was filmed in the magnificent Wilson Hall at Monmouth University. Truly an American palace, the mansion was home to Daddy Warbucks in the movie “Annie.” For the television special, the talented international cast took their audience on a spectacular musical journey that showcased the world’s most beloved melodies, from Broadway to the Met. The company’s performances in New Jersey, Washington, DC, and New York’s Carnegie Hall have drawn record crowds and rave reviews. The singers reflect America’s cultural diversity and are pleased to share their hearts, spirits, and joyful love of music with their audiences.
A non-profit 501( c) corporation, Pacific Encore Performances gives benefit concerts to raise critical funds for other non-profit organizations. Benefit concerts for the Children’s Aid Society, Olivia Zonis Foundation, and Alianza Dominicana have helped hundreds of children experience better quality of life. Educational collaborations with community schools have struck a meaningful chord in the minds of the next generation of music lovers.
In August 2013, Pacific Encore Performances presented an outstanding gala musical event, “Summer Musicale,” at Abbey Farm in Colts Neck, NJ, the lavishly gorgeous estate of gracious hosts Abbey and Tom Kober. Under the leadership of president Mary Weir, honorary chairs Laura and Richard Saker, and chairs Anita and Joe Roselle, guests from throughout the area were transcended to new heights of musical bliss with the vocal talents of the cast of singers. An astounding array of auction prizes, a sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner, and an open bar that flowed throughout the evening made for an unparalleled event. Also that evening, recognition was given to Legacy Honorees Carol Stilwell and Mary Ann Larkin, twin sisters who share an equal passion for generous philanthropy and volunteerism for countless causes throughout the community. Proceeds of the evening benefited the educational and cultural outreach programs of Pacific Encore Performances.
This month, music lovers have another opportunity to support this magical organization. Again hosted at the magnificent Abbey Farm, 86 Montrose Road in Colts Neck, “Fashion’s Nite Out” will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Celebrity stylist Jacqui Stafford, author of “The Wow Factor: Insider Style Secrets for Everybody & Every Budget,” will provide consultation on hair styling techniques, personalized makeup, fashion-forward furs, festive holiday attire, Swarovski accessories, home fashions, embroidered cashmere wraps, and more. A gourmet dinner will be served by Jacques Exclusive Caterers, with champagne and fine wines by Michael Lynn and, of course, “A Little Night Music” by Pacific Encore Performances.
